Joining in at Northland Regatta 2020, Kai Iwi Lakes.

My new friends at 1st Dargaville Scouts are very active today. It's not really the life for a lazy gnome like myself.

First, I had to try out the Pioneering Challenge set by the camp organisers. Fortunately, I just had to lie still and be carried around - that's the life!

But then they signed me up as part of the team for the Iron Man Challenge! I'm like, hold on one sec, and I had to talk real fast, like I did with my friends at Hawke, and convince them that concrete and deep lake are not going to get my mission accomplished. They did make sure I had a job though - watching over sunhats and cheering madly from the sideline, while lounging on the beautiful white sand.
